In 1999, twenty-eight years after I became involved in another religion, at the intense urging of a songwriter friend, I entered a church in Nashville, Tennessee. Much to my surprise, the thing I had searched after for more than 20 years was waiting for me. I finally walked into the real Presence of God. My wife and I stayed in the back of that church every Sunday for 8 weeks and we cried as the Spirit of the omniscient and loving God washed over our hearts. God was real and we had found His presence. That was 10 years ago and much has changed for us.

  If you would like to have that same experience, to find out if God is real, then, ask Jesus to reveal to you if He is real. Ask Him to show you. He will. Then, tell Him you’re sorry for what you’ve done that you know wasn’t God’s best for you, and ask Jesus into your heart. It really is that simple. If you are sincere, God will know and respond to your prayer.

 Then, find a good spirit-filled, Bible-based church. They come in all shapes and sizes. God says He will rightly fit you in the body of believers, so ask Him to show you which church He wants you In.  Keep looking until you find the one where you can feel His Presence.

  Love is the Answer and God is love.
